Gunboat 68 TOSCA
INTRODUCTION
Some yachts are built. TOSCA was composed. The fourth Gunboat 68 to take to the water, she launched in 2021 as the most refined expression of a hull that distilled more than fifteen years of evolution within the fleet – proven design, hard-won boatbuilding craft, and partnerships forged across the marine industry. Where her sisters set the standard, TOSCA was asked to exceed it. Her owner specified without compromise: sailing wardrobe, onboard systems, interior architecture, exotic finishings – each chosen for excellence rather than economy. The result is a yacht that reads as a single, coherent work of art. Five years and roughly 20,000 nautical miles later, she carries the quiet authority of a boat that has truly been sailed – and lived aboard, fully.

OVERVIEW
At her core, TOSCA is a world-cruising yacht. Everything around that core is Grand Prix race-boat thinking – building methods, structural engineering, and sailing performance drawn straight from competition. She was conceived for aesthetics, for speed, and above all for safety on extended bluewater passages. A lightweight all-carbon composite hull gives her a platform that is both robust and alive: assured in heavy weather, effortless in light airs, and a genuine pleasure across the entire range in between. Whether the horizon ahead is a global cruise or a regatta start line, TOSCA arrives – in speed, in comfort, and unmistakably in style.
The Interior
INTERIOR / LAYOUTS
Luxury and aesthetics, designed to the detail.
Inside, TOSCA balances high-end design against ultra-lightweight construction across a fully appointed five-cabin layout. Every material was chosen twice over: once for its quality, once for the way it carries light and space. The result is calm: uncluttered volumes where ergonomics and practicality come first, and nothing is decorative by accident. From an unhurried afternoon in the aft cockpit to slipping into an anchorage few others can reach, she was made to cross oceans in comfort, and to do it beautifully.

DESIGN
TOSCA’s design brief carried the full weight of Gunboat’s trailblazing heritage: no compromise on performance, luxury, equipment, or comfort, on a platform conceived for fast, safe world cruising. Her exterior lines exude speed before she has moved. Her interior answers with true comfort and a restraint that reads as confidence – clean, modern, purposeful, yet with real luxury present in every detail. Systems were engineered to stay accessible and to ask little of their owner. Thoughtful options personalise her without diluting what matters: she remains practical, lightweight, fast, and ready for the globe. TOSCA took shape through a close design loop between Gunboat, VPLP, Patrick Le Quément and Christophe Chédal Anglay – drawing on owners, crew, and the French offshore racing and aviation worlds.

Specifications & Upgrades
Demountable furniture in the salon and aft cockpit can be moved, linked and locked, reconfiguring the bridgedeck in minutes - cruise, race, cocktail party, or lounge. The custom Regatta Rig, with a 29-metre mast and 4-metre daggerboards, adds sail area while saving weight; the sail plan, optimised with Doyle, gives this catamaran its edge while keeping handling efficient.
Interior and exterior aft helm positions invite the sailing state of mind - the machine and the lifestyle, valued equally. Since 2025, TOSCA has been developed and maintained to the highest standards under the care of ORAMS Marine in Auckland.
