Grand Prix race boat technology applied to the ultimate world-cruising sailing yacht. Designed with aesthetics, performance, and utmost safety for extended bluewater cruising.
Practical, lightweight and high-tech, the Gunboat 72 Flybridge brings Gunboat’s racing DNA to a flybridge platform designed for low maintenance and true ease of use.
Every sail is handled from the flybridge helm. Four ensuite staterooms look out over the water, and a dedicated crew cabin keeps the owner’s spaces private.

CONSTRUCTION
• Vacuum-infused epoxy, foam core sandwich with carbon fiber skins, post-cured, built in female molds
• Thermoformed hull core and carbon stiffeners for minimum weight
• Carbon / epoxy / foam sandwich bulkheads, watertight at engine rooms and sail lockers
• 2 symmetrical carbon daggerboards, 3.17 m exit span, electric up / down
• 2 high-aspect carbon rudders with self-aligning bearings

• 29 m high modulus prepreg carbon mast, autoclave cured
• Carbon boom, longeron and forward crossbeam

Sheets, halyards, reefs and furlers all run to the flybridge, where the helm sits forward with clear sightlines.

SALON
Bridge deck salon with 360-degree visibility. L-shaped lounge with a table that converts from dining to coffee height. Double tinted sliding doors open onto the aft cockpit.
GALLEY
Runs along the port side around a central island with breakfast bar. 5-burner gas stove, electric oven, 4 fridge and 2 freezer drawers, 14-place dishwasher, instant boiling and filtered water.
NAV STATION
Chart table, C-Zone touch control, 16″ B&G Zeus display, throttle and mainsheet controls.
